All started for me in 1997, in Joliette, when I went to see two of my friends who started to play music together as guitar and bass player. At a time drummer had left the drums and I settled in his place with his sticks. It appeared that I was better than him whereas I just played a few times on a drum of another friend. My friends asked me to join their band since a greater friendship bound us already and because I played better and followed the rhythm better that my predecessor.
I bought a first kit whose quality approaches a trash but which allowed me to familiarize with the basics in rock percussion … because at that time we played a music of style alternative rock.
Two years later I moved to Montreal to undertake my bacc in computer engineering what reduced my practices to approximately four times per year, when I visited Joliette, during more than 2 years. Meanwhile the Elficus band was born with my companions by taking a turn more metal (with my satisfaction) and evolved very slowly until the end of my studies in 2003 and from this moment I could finally improve my art: hard hitting in a methodical and aggressive way. My evolution was striking what could finally bring the band to a higher level.
In 2005 I've joined Anemonia that I left in 2008.
Since you read this you know I am now part of Potion 13. I could talk about my tastes, my believes, what I put in my hair, the number of decays that I had, etc if fans ask about those subjects. I could then add other paragraphs on me if it is judged that it is relevant to inform the planet on that. |
